Ed Theory started as a small company in 2016 with the dream to provide quality education to the masses. Today, after having faced countless difficulties, we have achieved breakeven and our profits our growing day by day. I would like to thank all the members of the Ed Theory family for their constant hard work and cooperation. Without your efforts none of our dreams would have turned into reality. However, I would like to remind that, this moment is just one juncture in our beautiful odyssey and there is a lot which still has to be achieved.
Keeping in mind our vision, the company has decided to focus on creating better products which provide additional utility. To enforce this vision, discussions will be carried out with industry leaders to develop course modules which are relevant to the real world. Also, Application Programming Interface (API) will be brought into use to monitor student progress effectively and arrive at useful conclusions. New courses in the field of finance, law and accounting will be developed. These courses will be aimed at building the knowledge of people from non-commerce backgrounds so that they are able to make better financial decisions.
To improve the distribution channel, the Ed Theory website will be transformed so as to provide a smoother user experience. Also, gamification of the assignments will be carried out so as to engage students in the learning process.
A well-balanced promotional mix has also been designed keeping in mind our target market, that is, parents and students. In order to reach a wider audience, it is decided that product placements in YouTube videos will be carried out and demo lectures will be made available on popular music listening platforms in the form of podcasts. Also, students will be able to access chargeable courses for free on purchase of laptops of leading brands.
The company’s vision to spread education in villages will be aggressively promoted. To act upon this vision, our company will enter into tie-ups with NGOs. These NGOs will then create awareness about our education services in villages and our course material will be transferred there via cloud services. Also, funds will be gathered from big companies (whose social values match our objective of providing education to the masses) in the form of CSR. This CSR will be used to provide villagers access to technology which will help them learn online.
Due importance will also be given to our teachers who are the face of our company. To reduce the employee turnover, a paternalistic style of management will be adopted. Also, to motivate employees, salaries will be linked to student performance.
In today’s fast-growing world people still believe that e-learning is not effective, rather it is worse than normal schooling. Let me demonstrate the various advantages that e-learning has to offer. E-learning provides students flexibility. Their learning is not just confined to the normal school hours, but they can study anytime they want. It is also known that commuting to schools takes a lot of time. E-learning provides the perfect solution to this, it brings knowledge to your door step. Also, e-learning involves constant use of technology, which automatically makes children tech-friendly.
Despite all this, people still complain that e-learning doesn’t provide that ‘classroom experience’. We at Ed Theory are working to remove this barrier. We have employed additional faculty which only solves student doubts and it is our promise to solve student doubts in 24 hours. Also, we create social groups where students studying the same course can interact.
The most frequent complaint which parents have is that their children are not able focus in classes. To solve this, we have decided to host motivational lectures which will help develop student attitude. Also, we ensure that each lecture is of appropriate duration so that the student doesn’t get lose focus midway.
In the end, I would request students to take advantage of these facilities and I would wish all of them Happy Learning!

-CEO Ed Theory.
